I am new to wholesaling and trying to find the best place to buy the contracts that I need to secure properties. Do I need to hire a lawyer to write them up for me? Any advice will be much appreciated.

    Thanks

HI Andrew, I am Bill Arbuckle. I highly recommend you consider the Home Study Course on Wholesaling by Robin and Cindy Carriger. Look under REI Store and find the Wholesale class listed there. I have taken the course and found it very helpful.

    Andrew,

The Internet is teaming with copies of "free" REI documents and contracts. Most are worth what you pay for them as they are either written by morons who've never actually done deals, or by folks outside of Texas (Texas has some very specific laws).

I agree with Bill's recommendation about Robin & Cindy.

B/C I run the DFW REI CLUB, I get approached all the time by "gurus" wanting to sell their wares to our members. This has allowed me over the years to review most of the wholesale classes available out there. I do not believe you will find a better class on wholesaling than Robin and Cindy Carriger's. As part of that home study course it's my understanding you'll receive a CD with the forms you'll need to be a successful wholesaler in Texas.

And the best part is that the course is DIRT CHEAP. I've seen REI books that cost more than the course.

Do yourself a favor and snatch up a copy.

    Good luck!
